Mole / Skin Tag / Wart Treatment

Tired of looking at that mole on your face?   Thanks to radio wave technology, many unsightly growths can be removed, resulting in smoother skin.   When radiowaves are used instead of a scalpel, only the tissue immediately adjacent to the wire electrode is affected.   This eliminates the need for sutures and scars for the removal of moles, tags, seborrheic keratosis, facial veins and capillaries, and cherry angioma.
Radiosurgery uses the latest in diathermy technology to literally shave the mole away until it is smooth with the skin surface.   This method does not leave a scar because the Radiofrequency energy does not spread into the surrounding tissues causing damage to normal tissue.
Your moles will be checked to determine if it is suitable to be removed. Our doctors will check for suspicious moles and if there is a concern, relevent tests are done
A local anesthetic is used to numb the area. Once the area is numb the mole has simply shaved away until it is flush with the skin. There is no bleeding and because the skin is not cut there is no suturing required.  There is no discomfort or pain.  The skin where the mole was usually dried out in about 10 days but can take up to two weeks for large moles.   Healing depends on the size and depth of the mole, vein, tag or imperfection being removed. Once healed the final appearance will be just like the surrounding skin
Radiowave procedures to the face, head, neck and décolletage are effective for removing many types of skin lesions, including:
  • Age spots
  • Moles and raised lesions
  • Small red facial veins
  • Warts
  • Skin surface irregularities
  • seborrheic keratosis
  • cherry angioma
